Feeding Amounts

It is important to keep in mind the age, activity level and weight of your cat when you decide on the feeding amount. According to the manufacturer, an average 8 – 10lb cat will eat about one 5.5oz can daily.

Having said that, you know your cat best so deciding on the appropriate amount to feed them should be your decision based on the above-mentioned factors. You will also need to keep in mind how much dry food your cat eats in a day. Don’t hesitate to discuss it with your veterinarian if needed.

Always remember to provide fresh water at all times and refrigerate any unused food promptly.

Transition Instructions

It is best to make a slow transition from the existing food to a new food, ideally over 5-10 days. Start by adding 25% of the new food to 75% of the old food and feed that for the first three days. Introduce 50 – 50 of the old and new food for the next few days. Toward the end of the 10-day cycle, add 75% of the new food to 25% of the old food. Make sure to keep an extra eye on your cat through this transition to see if there are any changes in the eating habits or if they start vomiting, having diarrhea or feeling constipated. If any problems start to occur, stop the transition and consult your vet immediately.

If you are looking for a grain free option that does not have any fillers or by-products, this food brand would be worth looking into. This may be a hit amongst picky cats that prefer to switch things up and have a blend of poultry and seafood.

Thanks for the tips on credit repair on all of this blog. What I would advice people is to give up the mentality that they can buy now and pay later. As a society we tend to do this for many things. This includes vacations, furniture, and items we want. However, you need to separate your wants from all the needs. While you are working to improve your credit score you have to make some sacrifices. For example you can shop online to save money or you can go to second hand stores instead of expensive department stores for clothing.
